Default Advise needed ASAP

Hi everyone,
I have a 5 yr old female tabby who is vomiting every 4-5 days. She is now on a raw food diet (since October). She was on dry up to 4 years old, then I realized dry kibble was not good, transitioned her to canned and now raw.
While on dry (EVO Chicken Formula) she would vomit 1X/3mths, but she got a bit fat so the vet put her on Presc.Hills a/d (in June) to reduce her weight, then vomiting 1X/every month. Then I realized dry not good, went to canned (Wellness Chicken Formula), it then became1X/10 days, then I read that raw was the best way, and now we are at raw (since Oct). She started vomiting every 10 days, and now it's every 4-5 days. Went to the vet, Jan 3, put her on Omega 3's and Laxatone for hairballs (possible cause), gave her an anti-nauseau medication and a probiotic. Still the same. Brought her back to the vet, took blood tests all came back normal. (jan 10) Put her on Cerenia (for anti-motion sickness), the vet miscalculated and after 2 doses my cat started drooling and lethargic, hence we stopped. Today (Jan 13) she threw up again. A bit of bile and a bit of food, and she pooped OUT OF her litterbox. As of last night, she is also squatting on her bum and dragging it across the floor. She has gone to the bathroom, peeing and pooing, and I looked at her butt and she has these 2 red cuts, which I am sure is irritating her little bum. Put some coconut oil on it to try and heal but she keeps licking.
I don't know what to do anymore. THe vet does not seem to have a clue and this is the 2nd vet. My first one told me she is just a bit anxious (but that was when she was vomiting every 3 months). I've already paid $400 and still at the same place. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I seriously am a loss for words except for telling the vet to bugger off because I am so annoyed that they keep trying to give her meds without really figuring out what the problem is.

SORRY so long, just wanted to give a detailed description.
Anyone's help is SO greatly appreciated, you have no idea.

Help
Vicki

Have you tried isolating proteins? All/most of the foods you listed have a lot of chicken in them. Is her raw diet chicken based? She could possibly be allergic.

You only feed her rabbit organs and beef heart? No bones? No muscle meat besides beef? No variety?

Do you know what percentage of meat/bone/organ you are feeding?

I would stick with the probiotic. On a different group I belong to, a member started using Aloe Juice to help their dog's digestion. Not sure if anyone in that group has used it with a cat. Pixall might recall. Anyways, that's a great idea to consider.

Another thing, Homeopet makes a herbal drop that you can put on the food that helps with upset stomachs. However, I would try the Aloe juice first.

Poor kitty.
I'm confused: do you feed commercial raw, or a combination of meat/bone/organ you buy from a grocery store.
The diarreha sounds like she's not getting enough bone, or too much organ meat.
I second what has been suggested by OT: single source protein, and that includes bone, liver and nonorgan meat.
Keep us posted. Thanks.
Her rubbing her bottom sounds like possible an anal gland problem. Feces have to be a certain hardness for her to be able to express her glands naturally.

Hi, Vicki! Welcome to Cat Forum!

From what you've written so far, your cat's diet is singularly unbalanced and completely explains all the issues she's currently having.

If you don't mind, could you be very specific and tell us what you feed (manufacturer and product name), how much (in ounces) and how often you feed?

Give us a two-day menu, if you will. This will help enormously, so we can, in turn, help you and your baby.

Kinda like this:
Yesterday, I fed my kitty like this...

Breakfast was _______ (brand of food) made by _________ (company who makes food). I gave the cats ______ ounces of food each.

Lunch was _______ (brand of food) made by _________ (company who makes food). I gave the cats ______ ounces of food each.

Supper/Dinner was _______ (brand of food) made by _________ (company who makes food). I gave the cats ______ ounces of food each.

And today, I am going to feed my cat like this...

Breakfast will be _______ (brand of food) made by _________ (company who makes food). I will give the cats ______ ounces of food each.

Lunch will be _______ (brand of food) made by _________ (company who makes food). I will give the cats ______ ounces of food each.

Supper/Dinner will be _______ (brand of food) made by _________ (company who makes food). I will give the cats ______ ounces of food each.

Many <<<hugs>>> for everything you're going through! I can totally understand your frustration.

AC
