I thought you would have gotten yours today too. I'm glad you had some luck!
I just realized I can get sardine oil. If I can't get her to eat this Ill try putting some of that on it. Yea I've been getting my self ready to do the cut in half thing lol Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |

The worst part of me watching it was Skeeter threw the mouse around so much at first that its insides fell out and he ate those first

She had already convinced Bill to give her a good bit of wet food before he left for work and had finished it all by the time I got home from work. I almost waiting to try the whole prey until later. I decided to try one hopper mouse and one baby quail each cut in half. I was able to get past the eww factor of cutting them in half. I won't miss that when it's not needed.
Put it in front of her and was thrilled that she was way more interested in that than any other raw food I've offered this week. Our usual routine is I put the plate down and she gets some petting for awhile before she eats. This morning she had to at least check it out before her petting even! When she went back to the plate after her petting she batted at stuff for awhile then went right in and ate the hopper! woohoo! She ate the whole thing and then started hopping around the house. It was like she was proud of her first kill or it turned on something primal in her or something. Yes I know that sounds weird lol . She was defiantly different though. She hasn't shown much interest in the quail so not sure if she'll eat that or not. I'm so excited that she took to the mouse as quickly as she did! I hope she doesn't turn off of it like she did with the other raw food. |
