Im thinking of trying to include duck in my next batch of food- does anyone have an opinion on this? has anyone tried it? its just as fine as chicken or quail or hen, yeah?
Just wanted to get some opinions before i bought the duck. thanks. |

Ritz likes duck, but then she likes any kind of protein, including goat and goose.
If your cat likes chicken, he will probably like duck. The meat is considerably darker than chicken. And much stronger in flavor than quail. A couple of points/caveats: duck is very fatty, so just a little at first. If the duck is from a hunter, freeze first to kill any potential parasites. Better safe than sorry. |
