posting a photo/pasting link

For some reason I can't paste this link into the pop-up box where it needs to go. All I get is an error tone. What am I doing wrong? I have only posted thumbnails before. I'm new to this.

you have to grab the bb code link from flickr and paste it like this ^

eurm. I don't really know how the logged in page looks on flickr cause i've never used it.

When I click on your link, I can see a little bar at the top with the twitter and facebook logos and a little down arrow.
If you click on the arrow, and then on grab bb code you get the real link for your picture.

Jan Rebecca, Yes, that's the photo I was trying to post. I think I will contract with Bad cancer to post my photos for me. Haha, she is better at posting my photos than I am.

The photo is Tigger, who just turned 11. Rescued as a tiny kitten from the side of the road, 25 miles away, when I was passing by on a bicycle. He's a sweetheart.

I was trying to use the toolbar to cut and paste and that just wasn't happening. I rarely use keystrokes instead of clicks so didn't even think about it. But sure enough, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V allowed me to place the URL in the box.

Getting closer, if I could just get a little more help....

My favorite tech support friend came by tonight, sat down and tried to show me...he ended up frustrated and not sure why it can't be done.
It is obviously something with my PC.
