How to post a photo to a thread?

I only know how to post a photo as an attachment, or how to upload a photo to my profile album. I see that everyone posts big photos to the threads, not small thumbnails like my attachments. How do they do this?

First your photos need to be on a 3rd party photo site like Flickr or Picasa.
Then you right click your photo and click "copy photo location"
Then you paste it like this.
[img]paste photo location[/img]
for pet photos I like Flickr best as it allows you to choose what size to make your photo.

Thanks, that's my favorite picture of Samantha cropped.
Some day I'd like to have a painting made, pasting Samantha onto a better background then the kitchen table, maybe something with a Rainbow Bridge theme.
Right now that picture hangs above her urn on my mantle.
