You are totally missing the point. Obviously the story isn't "true". It was written as a way to include animals who weren't fortunate enough to have had owners, but were loved anyway by people who tried to make them well. The Rainbow Bridge IS heaven. I believe in both the Rainbow Bridge and heaven... AND I'm Christian, too.
