I understand that sometimes people need to be banned. They may be rude or simply not following the rules. I also understand that these posts need to be deleted, but, when a person is banned, is there anyway we can find out why they were banned? It just seems crazy that there are people posting one day and the next they are gone, with no discussion or implication why, as their last post may have been deleted.
I ask this not just because I may be snooping around, but because I have been on other forums where under their status as banned it says which rule they broke. I just find it a little odd that so many are banned and we have no idea why. Just wondering, thanks for having a space for comments.

It's almost never for one incident. It's usually an accumulation of repeatedly breaking rules over a period of time. And the member is always warned ahead of time about their actions and given plenty of chances. Some members were warned about something and posted a suicide note, either publicly (which is removed immediately) or to the mods in a PM.
I don't believe the reasons are for public discussion.

Since the question has been answered and we don't discuss reasons for banning, I'll just close up this little thread now.
