Ever read, viewed, listened to,mind-linked Douglass Adams Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy series? One of the feature that makes it so popular is the words DON'T PANIC written in large friendly letters on it's cover.
Many catizens-me included- 1st came to the forum due to some emergency-Kitty's not feeling well, unconcious, turning magenta etc What if we had a seperate forum for those desperate pawpas and meowmies-1st timers due to emergency? We could advise then on their situation, and be there to listen. Soothe jangled nerves. A DON'T PANIC forum! |

Well, members are told when they first join that we're not vets and we don't give professional advice and if it's an emergency, to contact a vet immediately. I think other than that, hopefully people are coming for general advice while they're waiting for vet appointments or for reassurance.
Heck, if I hadn't posted here first, I would have taken Cinderella to the E.R. because I thought she had some kind of fit. Turns out she was "chattering" at birds she was watching.
