Default Sticky threads for summary only

Rather than anyone post to sticky make them for moderators only. Anyone can suggest what to put there as a brief summary of important points and links to active threads. So the sticky thread is kept short with great coverage over many topics.

Are our moderators paid? This sounds like an awful lot of work to ask them to do if they aren't being compensated in some wonderful way.

No, they're not. And this is sounding again like what Doodle said...someone coming to our homes and telling us to rearrange our furniture because they don't like it.

Is this a lot of work for a moderator- not even compulsory,
5-10 seconds to consider maybe 20 summaries per month and less over time.
In that 5-10 seconds,
click the poll thread where the summarist has listed his summary and posters says it good or bad.
Decide to keep it,
Copy and paste.

Against the many general knowledge thread which forum angels can just the poster to sticky.
