Evening

My name is James, I have two cats, both moggies and both adopted. Lily had kittens at 6 months so is stunted with her growth (adorable) and Rory is taking his time (about 4 years) but he's starting to get used to the idea of jumping up near me on the sofa. I'm hoping he'll eventually trust humans enough to be lap cat.

Having a few treats in your pocket is good to bribe Rory into your lap. Lots of praise (good boy!) in a sing song voice also helps. When he starts coming onto your lap, start substituting occasionally treats with a small toy (catnip mouse, foil ball, twist tie).
