    Hi Robin,

I like thinking that I can be helpful, lol!

Please don't hesitate to post! I'm pretty confident in what I say about CKD but not anything else, and I always try to make clear that I'm throwing out suggestions. And sometimes, it's helpful to the person asking to just know that someone is reading and is sympathetic. :)

I'll send you a pm as I did last time, as I'm not sure whether you'll see this . :)

    Hi Sprite,

I just wanted to thank you for answering some of the new posts. It is sad to me that a once active forum is kind of dead now and I feel bad for those not getting answers. I just don't feel confident that I can add much but I try if an easy post. Anyway, thank you.

    Hi Sprite,
You mentioned CDK in older kitties. This seems more recent a development to me. I had cats for years and none developed this. Do you think it's the food we are feeding them? My daughter's cat just died from Advanced kidney disease. She has a lot on her plate right now and didn't realize it until too late. The cat didn't act sick. Anyway, why do you think this is prevalent now?
Years ago we fed dry food, cats lived to 18 -20 and all was well.

Probably because most of them weren't big supporters to begin with. Or maybe they're just now understanding the full impact of their vote - just a tad too late. It felt really gloomy and quiet here, and I'm in the midst of Trump country, though my city voted for Clinton. We're a tiny speck of blue in a sea of red...

Funny. None of the Trump supporters were hootin and hollerin this morning. They seemed kinda somber...

The shelter where I volunteer is having a Halloween spooktacular. I'm thinking of bringing apples and caramel dip!

Spirite! I was reading the "Count to one billion" thread and had no idea about your health issues. I am so sorry to hear this. :( I hope your recovery is quick and you're feeling better soon. Lots of virtual hugs from me, Ellie and Tootsie!

sadie913, in case you see this, your mailbox is full, so I can't pm you. You can find Hound & Gatos at Nature's Emporium on Brambleton, across from the Kroger at Cave Spring Corners. :)
