Toby missing, **update** back home safe and sound. Was out!

Just got home.

Can't find Toby. I've looked everywhere imaginable. I don't think he is in the flat.

If he has got out - he has no road sense, nothing. He has almost no knowledge of the outside world.

How did he get out? Have you looked everywhere? Once when I couldn't find Cinderella, she was under my bed up in the box spring! I've found both my kitties in the strangest places. Have you checked every corner of your closets? Drawers that are barely open?

I hope you find him soon.

oh my, I'm so sorry!

Have you checked to see any open windows or places he may have snuck out? Is he one for door dashing or even thinking about it? Any loose screens in the windows?

And while I'm sure you've looked everywhere - look twice! Under furniture, behind closed doors, in closets.

I had a panic attack when I couldn't find Addison one day. He didn't come for breakfast but I was in a rush and didn't think much of it.. by the time I got home from work I was a wreck. Nobody had seen him. After running around like mad crying my eyes out screaming for him outside I finally found him.

Huddled in the farthest corner under the bed. His collar had gotten stuck in his jaw and I can only assume he had been under there since the night before. I felt horrible but after I found him and made sure he was ok, I was extremely relieved.

Make up flyers immediately and put them all around, but make sure you've searched every inch of your place right afterward!

The last time I couldn't Cinderella, I still have no idea where she was hiding. She just appeared.

Oh no! I hope he's just hiding somewhere inside. I'm praying he turns up safe and sound very soon!

Here's hoping that Toby has just found an awesome new spot to sleep in.

When you got home, were there any windows open or other forms of egress? If not, possible places could be behind washer/dryer, deep in closets, and don't forget to look somewhere way up high in your house-bookcases, closet shelves.

Did anyone enter your flat when you were gone?

Sending good wishes your way...Christina and Gigi

Well - thankfully he is ok. . Thank you for your support everyone.

But he wasn't in the flat. I heard him meowing in the back garden. Goodness only knows how he got out. All the windows were shut. The only explanation is that he must have made a bolt for it out the door when my flatmate went out this afternoon.

He seemed very pleased with himself. Struted around the flat with his tail up. Thankfully there was no sign of him having been in a fight or anything.

Mr Houdini finally made it to the outside world. But thankfully he also knew where his home was.
