O.M.G. ...my Mom wants a Bengal!!!!!

Yup! She has told me she wants a Bengal kitty! She likes the white ones, 'snow'? Anyhow, she has told me there is a breeder in Sacramento that she may check out this fall.

She has a little female DSH kitten right now who is terrorizing the toilet paper rolls and after she is spayed Mom wants to investigate the Bengals.
I will be so jealous! (but I love my own thundering herd of cats!)

Don't hold your breath. Unless Mom gets a digital camera and sends me pics, I live 3,000 miles away and can't take them myself. I haven't even seen a pic of this little DSH kitty! Sis's digital camera was broken (accidentally dropped @ Monterey Bay Aquarium) this spring by her 10yr old son and has not been replaced. :-/

Hubby and I will be flying to SanFran for a conference and will be able to visit family while we are there. If she has the Bengal-kitty then I'll be able to take pics. Or, if we fly out for X-Mas and she has the Bengal-kitty, I can take pics then.
Or...I'll just have to wait. *elbows on table and chin cupped in my hands*

I think we should take up a collection to buy your Mom a digital camera.

I have 3 Bengals myself. A brown spotted, silver spotted and a blue marbled. I wasn’t really looking for another kitten Bengal when I came across the blue. And I kind of wanted a snow Bengal some day to "complete" my collection of Bengal cats. I know that "blue" isn't a true Bengal colour, but I couldn't help but fall in love with the little cat.

They are awesome cats… Just be sure your mom gets one form a good breeder. I have been seeing a lot of “backyard” breeders popping up lately and selling these cats for $150-300. I think they should still go for about $600-800ish US for a pet quality kitten.

I'm totally jealous! If I ever got a purebred, it'd be a Bengal, or maybe a Savannah - awesome looking cats, and they're said to be so much fun.

I switched to charmin with aloe vera and my cats haven't touched the toilet paper since, let me know if it works.

I have 2 snowspot bengals and my mum has 8 (a variety of spots, marbles, browns and snows). They are wonderful social cats but can be quite demanding at times...I wish your Mum as much pleasure with the one that chooses her as I have with mine

What is a "marble"? Does it mean the 'classic' tabby pattern?
