Everyone's Alive! And Awake!!

Boy, did I do something stupid last night. I got out my half of a sleep-aid tablet (a whole one makes me really loopy....) and put it on a book on the kitchen table. I ended up doing somthing else and remembered to take it about an hour later ------ and it was GONE!!! I searched high and low and couldn't find it. The cats were all asleep, so I woke them all up, poor things. Needless to say, I didn't take my dose, because I had to stay awake so I could keep waking the cats up every few minutes. It works pretty fast on me, so I was sure nobody had eaten it, but it sure scared me out of my wits!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes.

Keep looking! I bet, if the half pill was near a hard floor, that it has been used as a pojectile plaything and is under something. If not, vacuum really good!

Check under the fridge and the stove. That's where our cats usually bat stuff.

Yes, look under the stove and such. We have a game at our house, I get out the yard stick and sweep out everything they've thrown under there, and they act all surprised.

Frightening, Elsie! I think the yardstick's a good idea, just in case.
