Possible new kitty...

We applied for him today. He is free of charge and is soooooo adorable...VERY mellow and laid back. He is also a purring machine. He looks just like our Dorn. Dorn is black/gray. We had a kitten with Dorn and it didnt work to well...so we are gonna try get another cat with a personality the same as his... Dorn is very laid back and this kitty is even more laid back... I am so excited...

He looks very loving and handsome. How great that this shelter waives the fees on all cats 3 years and older! I wish all places did that.

Best of luck - hope you get him and he's a perfect match.

I hope so too!! SO bad....

It appears he is also microchipped as there is a small bald spot under his fur by his shoulders and a little red dot in the middle of the patch...

Very affectionate boy.. he is front declawed which leads me to believe he was not a stray for very long..

I am super excited to give this guy a nice warm home full of love for the rest of his days!!!

I walk in the door every day and the first to words that come out of my mouth are 'hey baby" when i see dorn there standing in the kitchen when walk in meowing away at me...I am such a geek lol

I used to love dogs..but I still like them and i love cats like mine now..there are days when i think about him and get so excited to get home and scoop him up for some lovin!! lol ok enough..

I've had both my kitties microchipped and I never looked, but I don't think the bald spot and red dot would be from microchipping. They use a needle and inject it under the skin. But maybe I just didn't notice because my kitties have long hair..

yeah i cant see it unless i move his hair...not to sure about it...

he passed my 'blow' test...just because i have a daughter and i know she like to blow on things...like our current kitty, which has no issues...so I just blew on his face..not a flinch...

I must say it was love at first site for me....pretty sad...even my wife said I am so pathetic..haha

You aren't pathetic, you have a big heart! You ol' softie, you...
My hubby has brought home more than half of all of our kitties. Past and present. We have kept every single one that he has brought home. Many of the ones I have brought home, we kept...but most (the kittens) that I foster go through the adoption center.

The blow test!

Cinderella would have failed miserably, but Cleo would have passed!

Nothing wrong with being a softie!

Matt, you sound like a good man. All 7 of our kitties are here because of my hubby.

I hope you get to bring the new one home, he's gorgeous.
