Feeding frenzy for 130 cats

A woman who has given 130 street cats a home finds that mealtime can spark a feeding frenzy.

Does anyone else think that looks like a really inefficient way of feeding all those cats?

YES. Does not sound like the best way to care for 130 cats either, all in one room... the feeding frenzy is a pretty scary sight

I think it's okay...sorta.
When she carried that large green bucket/bowl in there I was concerned about how all of the cats would be sure to get enough food; bold would out-eat the more timid. I had thought to myself, why doesn't she scatter it on the tile floor?
However, I wouldn't scatter handfuls like chicken feed, I'd try to pour out rough concentric circles. At least with scattering it, all of the cats are assured of finding morsels.
My only hope is that they are spayed/neutered and not creating more and MORE cats that have to eat what she can afford to give. They will quickly outgrow her ability to give, if that is the case.

OMG!

Look at them all!

Blimey. I couldn't help but laugh though when they are all meowing and clambering at the door waiting for dinner!

I just showed that video to my Hubby and he said: "Have they shown that clip on Shark Week?"

I'm sorry - - I just have to keep watching that. Amazing. Look at them jumping over each other to get to the food.

Can't be healthy though surely. Lots of cats in need of good homes!!
