There's a bully in my home

I noticed yesterday that Wicket had a bunch of very short whiskers that looked like they had been chewed off... and today, I noticed the same thing on Chewie!

For logic's sake, I go check on Obi's... how surprising, his whiskers are all there!

I know he's not much for gentleness while playing, but still... little bully, you should be ashamed of yourself

Hahahaha! I bet he sneaks chews between the licks while grooming and they never even realize they're being terrorized rather than loved on.

Does it seem to bother them at all? Has he gotten to the bigger kitties?

Sometimes that can if they have been sick or have a deficiency of some sort. Phoebe's did the same thing. She was entirely whisker less on on side.

Well not all of their whiskers are chewed off, but they have two or three on each side that stick out at about 1/3 of an inch long - they don't seem to mind

I did not notice anything on the bigger kitties... they groom the babies a lot, maybe they are guilty of being a little too enthusiastic about it? But Obi is the one who gets groomed the most, so he should be affected too... another weird riddle to solve!

That's exactly how Phoebe's were. We blamed rough play at first, or grooming, but the vet said it could just be because she wasn't 100% and that since she had been so tiny and had so much catching up to do, sometimes they are just deficient in something and they can have brittle whiskers that break off very easily. They grow back VERY fast, I remember within a few weeks they were all back in again.

Wow, then it's very likely that this could be the case for these guys, since they have been having ups and downs lately... thanks to you I will go to sleep less stupid than when I got up (as my grandma says)

The only costume I have is Cat Woman!

And in a show of solidarity, I have shortened my whiskers.
