I went to give Hanzel a tickle on the belly when i found this!

He has a bald patch! What on earth could have caused this? And should i be concerned?
A few times when patting him id notice little clumps of fur would come off (still attached to a flake of dead skin) but i thought that was because of his dermatitis condition which he has since almost fully recovered from. Even in the worst of his condition i never found bald patches so im not sure if its even linked at all.

(Btw, Furless cat skin feels so suprisingly soft!)

Sincerely, Krystle.

I've always had secret fantasies of shaving my (short haired) cats because I just looooooooooove the way it feels!!

Maybe he got into a scuffle or even got caught on something outside that pulled the hair? Its always possible there was some sort of injury.

As long as the skin looks good I wouldn't worry about it too much, just keep an eye on it.

I'd just keep an eye out, as Jessie said, and watch to see if he's over-grooming that spot. It doesn't look irritated, so that's good.
