New favorite toy...

I get these lovely, fancy cat toys, and my my baby gets bored.
What does she love, and continues to play with? It's a scrap of shoe-string found in the yard.

Johh, John, John.....you've had cats most of your life. How do you not know this by now?

And why do we keep buying them new toys?

Cali, Cinderella, Cleo and Charlee

Tobie chewed so many shoelaces in his 17 yrs, I Lost count. I finally just started buying him shoelaces to play with so he would leave my shoes alone. LOL

Freak and Scooter don't seem to like laces ... Thank God!

A cat I had when I was little LOVED milk rings. She'd play with those more than all those fancy toys. She also loved to lay in boxes. At Christmas, if I got a clothing box or whatever, she'd lay in the empty top. Silly cats, haha.

Duchess loves the milk rings. I got a new stove a year ago and when I removed the old one I found a dozen rings under there.
I have a pair of hiking boots with really long laces. When I take them off she eagrely awaits there removal so she can attack those laces. Once she attacked the laces and took off down the hall with the string stuck on one claw, the boot caught and bounced up and hit her in the butt. She turned around and the look on her face was priceless. I wish I'd had a camera.

The more people I meet the more I love my cat!

It's even better because she found it out in the yard. It's full of smells, and other yummy things.

Fancy bought toys held my cats attention for a few minutes then they get bored and ignore them

I tied a bit of folded newspaper onto the end of a bit of string and they've played with it for years...............
