Shadowy Kitty

This evening I went out to eat with family that lives here. When I got home, I backed the car into its place, and as I got out to to walk to the house a strange thing happened. A shadowy form of a kitty ran ahead of me part way to the house, then disappeared. It didn't run into the shrubs along the front of the house, or off into the front yard to hide in the shadows of the slope. It just disappeared, fading very quickly from a solid black shadow form of a cat about Arianwen's size, to transparent, then gone. And Arianwen was waiting inside the door to lovingly greet me when I came in.

I asked my sweet kitteh about this a while ago. Her answer was to take off like a shot, run to her scratching post and scratching pad, scratching vigorously while she grinned at me. My enigmatic Kitta!

Was she telling me it was her? But how could she be in two places at once? Is Arianwen doing astral projection? How cool is that?
I just had to share this strange happening...

Could have it been a spirit kitty?

I'd like to think so. The idea of spirit kitties hanging around is very appealling.

Since you and Arianwen communicate so freely I would think you would be interesting to a spirit.

If ANY creature could master astral projection, it would be a cat.

That's really cool =D

Maybe Arianwen has spirit kitteh friends. It could be possible.

Maybe it was Sam (R.B. kitty) letting me know he's still around. It's been months since his last visit.
