Cali has a boyfriend!

Well, an admirer at the very least. My neighbor came by to open up four stuck windows for me and when he knocked on the door, the cats all scattered as though he were a 6 foot tall nail clipper! But Cali came back into the living room right away and Jim was instantly smitten!! She jumped on the back on the sofa and just walked right up to him, staring in his face. She's never seen a man before! (I'm a little concerned that I may have had the same look on my face.)

My place feels like it's air conditioned now, even though it's quite warm outside, and all four cats have been checking out their new window sills.

Cali, there's nothing better than a handyman who can give you fresh breezes .

Cali the man-magnet!

My cats scatter when someone rings the bell or knocks. Well, most of them. Mousie, Shadow and Shasta are the only ones who will remain hidden, the rest cruise about. If the guest sits down, BooBoo is in their lap giving them a headbutt...however the BEST...is Squirrely-Jo. We call her the WalMart Greeter. Anytime someone comes in the house she runs up to them, tail in the air and screeching the loudest meow so they will notice her.
If I happen to see the person in the driveway and open the door before they knock/ring, after they come inside, I will call: "S-Jo, so-and-so is here to see you!" and she comes running and meowing her greeting. She loves people.

Awww, that's so cute!

There was an awful lot of banging in trying to loosen the windows. The other cats didn't make an appearance until almost 20 minutes after he left.

I'm happy Cali has an admirer. Mostly, I'm glad you got those windows opened. That strange, pleasant odor? That's called fresh air. Isn't it nice?

It's lovely! I had to close my blinds because the breeze was a little too cool, but the windows are staying open. Now my lovely little girls can torment those yappy little dogs next door all day long! Their owners have been yelling at them to shut up for a while now.

Lol! You know, every dog owner I've ever known, or non-cat-lover, will swear up and down that cats sit within sight of dogs just to torment them. I swear otherwise, though I think sometimes the cat is curious about the uproar & stays to listen. What do you think?

I think my cats are curious and find the yappy little dogs as fascinating as they do the birds.
