The Max Relax a Cat came today

I ordered a Max Ralax a Cat scratcher from Cat Claws and it came today. (Thank you Merry for the suggestion and the link).
With great anticipation I unwrapped it and presented it to my darlings. Don't they look completely bored?

Now this is what they really wanted!

Sue

That is sooo funny. Great pics.

In the first one they all have that famous "we are not even going to look at it" expression on their faces.

Well, at least it'll make an interesting-looking piece of furniture.

Talley is also a box cat - once it is opened, she claims it. The same for gift bags or shopping bags from The Container Store, etc. - whatever she can fit in.

Mom of
Skin kids - Jason, Kevin, Allison
Canine kids - Bennett & Bailey (always in our hearts), Riley, Banker, Rogue and Boz
Feline kids - Zoey, Talley and Abra

How completely and utterly typical.....

I think it was someone on here that said "the more expensive the cat toy/present is, the more they will completely ignore it.

That's funny! I'm sure Murphy would be the same way. We brought home a great cat bed for him this weekend, and he continued to want to sit on the box lid I had left for him. Go figure.

I also bought a bed for Orlando yesterday. Actually I got a dog bed because it is bigger and he is 16 lbs. He has a bad leg and I thought it would be more comfortable for him. So last night he slept in the same old basket with the thin liner where he always sleeps.

The scratcher was mostly for him, also. Because of his leg I thought it would be easier for him. He has not used it at all but still claws the carpeting. Ungrateful twit!

Wow, great piece of cat furniture. Easy to look at! I cringe when I see cat trees. They are so ugly but cats loooooooove them. I laughed out loud when I saw them in the box.

I would love to get a scratching post like that but alas my cat Mittens pees on all cardboard scratchers.. brat that he is.

Very very cool looking scratching post Sue! You are such a good cat mom. Keep us posted on how it holds up. Id be interested! I love designs of their stuff!
