What do you think?

The title says it all "What do you think?"

A guy brought me the duckling he was going to run over him but he saw it and saved it. I got him yesterday and placed him in a medium size dog crate. He is doing fine. I just don't know what species it is? I thought it was a Mallard but on further inspection I suspect it is a Wood duckling. She found it really interesting. I have a vid of her meeting Splash.

ETA: Thanks Heidi n Q for the caption.

I think your cat knows what it is.... LUNCH.

a mallard would be so hard to tell because the males and females are marked so differently.

I think it is quite cute. I don't have any idea about what kind of duck it is, tho.

Peking Duck?

...I know, I know... Bad joke.
Maybe we can call it a pecking duck. Does it peck?
