The things you learn...

The kits are no longer confined to the bathroom since I don't have to medicate them any more... so we've had a steep learning curve all weekend.

First of all... kitty play time starts at 5am... must remember to shut bedroom door from now on!

Second of all... 2 2lb kittens sound like a herd of elephants when they are playing 'tag' (over/under/behind the bed I'm trying to sleep on at 5am!)

Thirdly... if I sit on the sofa long enough I'll get colonised (which is really cute).

Life with kittens is never dull!

Just wait. Last night Talley decided to jump from a three drawer file cabinet onto the top of an open door. She made it, but the jump back would have involved dodging some fragile items. No wonder I am getting gray hair - it's the cats, not the kids.

And this room is not kitten-proofed. It is my craft room, where I keep all of the things that can't be in other parts of the house. There are people working downstairs in the safe areas for at least another 24 hours...

Mom of
Skin kids - Jason, Kevin, Allison
Canine kids - Bennett & Bailey (always in our hearts), Riley, Banker, Rogue and Boz
Feline kids - Zoey, Talley and Abra

I have one kitty who can sound like a herd of elephants when she's zooming around the house!

We lovingly refer to it as the Thundering Herd of Migrating Wildebeest at our house.
