My cat needs help

My 11 year old cat, Pumpkin, needs a very expensive operation to save his life. I've only been able to save up part of the money, and they won't do the op. without 3/4 down.

My local Sugeon suggests euthanization, but also agrees that with the operation and proper care, he could live. Right now he's just getting worse by the day.

This isn't a request for money, but could somebody please point me to a charity that could help him.

I'm willing to drive him anywhere in the continental US.

I hope I haven't broken any rules here.

I don't know about the rules, but I sure do wish you luck for your kitty.

I am not sure if I am recalling correctly, but isn't Care Credit one option? I think it is specifically for animal veterinary care.
I found a link:

Best of luck getting Pumpkin well. If you cannot get the finances arranged in a timely fashion, you may have to look honestly at your cat and decide if their quality of life will sustain them until you can make arrangements. I do not envy you this position at all because I have had to make The Big Decision when money was a factor regarding what I could afford to do.
Good wishes being sent yours and Pumpkin's way...

I"m sorry that you are in this position with Pumpkin. If you are close to a bigger city maybe you can contact the local ASPCA. Sometimes they have lower cost vet care.

Good luck to you.

There's a list of organizations that can help here:

http://www.care2.com/c2c/share/detail/300198

Another list here (there's probably a lot of overlap)

Good luck...hope one of these options works out for you.

Not everyone has credit cards though.
I do hope you are able to find a solution.
