Feline Leukemia Rescue?
A cat has come into my clinic who was thrown out of a car on the highway. She is BEAUTIFUL. She looks like a calico, but has "minky hair," white at the roots and brown on the tips. She is horribly sweet, rubs her chin on yours and purrs like a motorboat. She is also FeLeuk positive. I cried when that little blue dot came up on her test, she deserves so much better.
Does anyone know of a national Feline Leuk rescue or colony, either nationally or near St. Louis or Kansas City, MO? I'm willing to set up a train for her, she just needs a fe-leuk savvy home. Please please help me help her.
I know this is in the wrong section, but I am utterly desperate. I'll post a picture tomorrow. Her current name is Sprinkles, she is someone's special cat, I'm telling you. She just pleads with me to take her home, pawing at my face through the bars of her cage and purring. Today she held my face in her paws and stared right into me...I need some place safe for her to go.
