Fresh Flow Fountain

I just went out and bought Tessie one of these fountains. I'm hoping this incourages her to drink more since she hates sitting water. She loves to drink water from the faucet. Every morning when I wake up and when I get home from work she runs right to the faucet in the bathroom. She drinks and plays in it for 15 minutes lol.
How often do you replace the filter in the fountain? I couldn't find it anywhere on the box.

When it starts impeding the water flow, you can try rinsing it out. I don't know how long it filters the water. I've been running my fountains without the filters because they gunk up way too fast, they're expensive to replace, and they don't really filter all that well, anyway. I fill the fountains with filtered water, so they don't really need the activated charcoal for the water alone.

I have a fountain for Duchess. She gets bottled water in it. I don't use a filter since it is bottled water. I clean it once a week. She don't like still water either.

The more people I meet the more I love my cat!

Arianwen drinks a lot of water from her glass water bowls, but I have to use discretion to be sure I get her water when the tap water smells and tastes "drinkable". The G'ville municipal water tastes and smells really nasty a lot of the time.
Maybe I should get a filtered fountain for her. But it would have to be a quiet one, or she won't use it.
