Reincarnation?

There has been something bothering me since I first meet Nico. He was 3 months old and his owner was looking for a home for him. I offered to foster him so I went for him the next day. Since the begining there was something that I could not explain that was making me attracted to Nico. He looked a lot like Negra's kitten, Finn, and I missed Negra. At the begingin he was like any other kitten extremly payful and with full of energy. After a month or so I fealt no bond with him and I was getting frustrated because I could not find a home for him. My friend offered to adopt him so the adoption went thru. I kept in constat check with him and he was doing fine enjoying his new life. Well around June my friend told me that she was going to have to return Nico because she had gotten some spots on her body and the doctor had said they were allergies due to the cats. So Nico returned and I got him nuetured and vaccinated but then I noticed that something again. Everytime I look at him he reminds me of Negra. Negra had a mest up leg when she first came to my house and was a bag of bones. I got her fixed and she was in good weight. She got killed last year in October by a car. Negra's personality consisted of everytime she saw me she would come runing to me and rub against me and walk under my feet, that is something that Nico has started doing and I know cats tend to do that but Nico does it in the same maner Negra did. Another of the same personality consists that Nico loves to sleep on top of me or my sister or somewhere near the bed and that is something Negra also did. Another thing is that when its time to eat he is extremly vocal just like Negra and the last and most amazing thing is that every time I look into his eyes I see Negra's. It might be that Nico and Negra where average cats while I had Kiddles for 2 years now and she is just well Kiddles. I don't know if I am imagining things but what do you guys think?

Re: Reincarnation?

I think cats are amazingly complex creatures, most of whom also have a spiritual life and an afterlife. I have become open to these possibilities since being 'visited' by Sam, and several other beloved R.B. kitties. Kitties do sometimes come back to the people they love, and who love them.

Re: Reincarnation?

I remember MY first cat, Taz. He was a birthday present for the first birthday I lived with my dad. I was turning nine. I loved that cat and was devastated a couple of years ago when he went to wait for me at the bridge. But sometimes I swear the he has come back as our baby Gabby. She looks so much like him its uncanny. And her manerisms are a lot like his. Also, she was born two years to the day from when Taz passed. So yes, I do believe that cats come back. And when they do, they make sure you know.

Re: Reincarnation?

In a word... no, but that's just my thoughts. We'd all love to prove me wrong, but it's not happened yet.

I know that when people die, their loved ones miss them so much they start thinking all sorts of things. I personally don't believe in rainbow bridges, reincarnation, visitations or any of that, but again that's just me.
