Another Kitten Found Me! Ahhh!

I just adopted little Ellie from my vet about a month and a half ago. She had been brought in with burns and needed to be adopted to I took her to be a companion to my 4 year old cat.

Well, tonight as I was getting off work at a hockey game, I see a tiny kitten running through the parking lot. I was driving my sisters home and one of them jumped out and grabbed her. I couldn't just leave her there to get hit, the whole area was full of cars, I am glad she didn't get hit before. She was pretty calm the drive home and is currently hiding some where in my spare room. She looks really, really young. I am not sure if she needs a milk substitute or not. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to take her to a shelter. No one else I know can take her, my one sister has aggressive dogs and the other has a boyfriend who is allergic. So I don't know what to do. Little Ellie is already a handful, plus taking care of another kitten is going to get expensive. I need to get her to a vet ASAP to get her checked out. Ahhh I don't know.

I'm so glad you took her from the parking lot! Why don't you take this one step at a time. You could first take her to the vet, and then once you know what you're dealing with, think about trying to find a home for her.

Glad you found her so she didn't get run over. I agree with October, take one step at a time, and do what you can.

I just took "her" in today and found out it is actually a "him". He was limping on one of this back legs but the vet doesn't think it is broken. He is only about 7 weeks old. How he survived a parking lot full of 8,000K people is beyond me!

Well, the little mister is a lucky kitty, that is for sure! Do you know what you are going to do with him yet?

You are so great to rescue the little guy.

Contact a local rescue and see if they would put him up on their petfinder.com and let you bring him to their adoption events.

Last month a woman rescued two black kittens. She asked us if wed help her find them a home. They found a great home at our monthly adoption event. This was her first attempt out of the gate! Im sure the same can happen for you.

Here is a bad one from my cell phone. He has been hiding a lot.

He was dewormed today and his first BM had a round worm in it, ew. Does the dewormer hurt the kitties tummies? He seemed to have a little trouble taking the BM.

Awwww, look at that face!

I don't know the answer to the dewormer question, but others will.
