Found a home for rescued cat!

My polydactyl cat finally has a new home! Yeaaaaa! Some lady at work took her. She took over my house and beat Mango's butt! She became the dominant one and that was not okay with me! She finally got over her runs and is much better. I am so glad that she is gone. It was too much stress with my hubby being sick from chemo. This is so sad for me to say, but I have learned that I will not rescue anymore cats. There is no one out there to help. NO ONE! We do not want another cat and we just had our wake up call if we ever thought we did. Sorry, but we are a one cat home. Now m;y house can get back to normal.

Zippy, was she a black cat? That runs in my mind. I love them! I'm so pleased she has a home!

Your husband will be in my prayers. I know that chemo can be miserable.

Congrats on finding a new home for your foster. Fostering takes alot of you. People have no idea. Plus it can get expensive. I have the support of my group and its alot of work, Maybe you dont need to foster but offer to do the Petfinder or design posters for events or run foster to vets, etc. Theres lots of way you can help with out taking a cat into your home.

I'm glad you found a home for your polydactyl kitty, Zippy! You're so great for giving this kitty a loving home when one was needed.

Re: Found a home for rescued cat!

Yes, she was a black cat. I think she will be happy now that she doesn't need to be shut up in the bedroom all day. Mango is a happy camper right now. THe other night, my hubby reached over in bed to touch Mango and Mango jump to the ceiling thinking it was her trying to get him. Poor Mango! I could volunteer, but it will need to be after the chemo and after school is out. I feel so good though that she is not smashed in the road and I gave her the chance at a good life. I do miss her! I think about her all the time. The good thing is that I work with the lady who took her and will hear stories about her every day!
