Tweezer after 5 1/2 weeks

When I picked up Tweezer on September 17th he weighed 3 1/4 lbs, had an eye infection, an upper respiratory infection and ear mites. He could hardly get up on one stair, much less a whole flight of stairs. This is a picture I posted of him on his first day.

The next day he went to the vet and was put on Doxycycline and given medication for his ear mites. He also began to eat and eat and eat..... Last Tuesday at the vet he weighed in at 6 1/4 lbs. He runs around like a wild kitty and jumps on all of the others - even 17 lb Orlando. He has had eye drops and is almost done with a course of Azythromyacyn. The vet said he has cataracts, probably from being malnourished when he was a kitten. Other then that he is pretty healthy. I cant' imagine this happy friendly active little guy being in a cage for all those months and it makes me so happy to see him run and play now.

He often has his tounge sticking out like this.

It's so good to see Tweezer so happy and full of life. What a difference you have made in him, Sue, from that first picture to the last.

He really does love Da Bird. All of my cats do. When Da Bird comes out they all show up to play. They are more interested in Da Bird then they are in kitty treats!
