should I keep her in a seperate room?

Ok Izzy goes to the Vet on the 26th for her Spay and Declaw- My question is when we had Munchkin done we cleaned the house real good to make sure she didnt get any litter that was left over on her paws, well I was wondering if I should keep Izzy in a seperate room while she heals (3-5days) so that she has less chance of getting litter on her paws and less chance of jumping on or off of stuff.

No arguements on this being mean or unethical, I already know most of the peoples opinions on declawing

I'd keep her in a seperate room, maybe a small empty one if you happen to haev one. Where she can't do much running around or climbing.

1. Will be easier to clean a small room and keep it clean
2. Fewer things for her to try to climb.

Yes, you already know my opinion on declawing

Re: should I keep her in a seperate room?

Im going to keep her in the master bathroom since its small but cozy for her. She really isnt going to like it one bit either since she is a very social cat. I have talked with the vet and She is letting me pick one person to take care of Izzy since she doesnt like strangers, So that makes me really happy!!! I picked one of the girls that is really nice and Izzy seemed to like her, she was really happy to be the one I chose since she loves Izzy. I have requested take home pain medican for Izzy too so that should help some.

I schedule her to go in the day before Thanksgiving so that it would be less stress on her since she hates being around lots of people. We pick her up the day after to come home and I will have her "room" all ready for her arrival.
