Perfect Maggie!

Maggie went in for her annual check-up earlier tonight and I had them run a senior blood work-up on her as I've done for the last couple years, since she's an 'older girl' now (she's 12).

Vet said one of her kidneys is very slightly larger than the other, but no cause for concern. She was thrilled with how soft and shiny her fur is, teeth are good, heart sounded good etc. And she just called and the blood work numbers were perfect!

What a relief! Even though she's not showing any signs of illness, I was still a little tense. Although I do think she's showing signs of insanity as every morning she gets up on the little seat in the shower stall and chases her tail until she falls off! Guess she's just keeping herself young!

Re: Perfect Maggie!

Glad to hear Maggie has a clean bill of health. Even when you think you know they are healthy it is still reassuring to hear it from the vet.

I'm glad to hear Maggie is still in the pink, Lisa!

Re: Perfect Maggie!

Yay for Maggie being fit as a fiddle I have visions of her chasing her tail until she falls off the seat and it's very funny

Re: Perfect Maggie!

Thanks guys. I was thrilled the blood work was so good. I have to admit I'm a bit paranoid having lost Onyx at 10 and Callie at 12. I've told Maggie she needs to live to 25 to make up for the other 2 going so young.
