Arianwen says Hello!

Arianwen frequently tries to talk English, as well as she can, but she speaks so softly I can barely understand her most of the time.
Well, I had a little heart-to-heart talk with her a few days ago about how my human ears can't hear her sometimes, and a little while ago she came into my bedroom and said,"Hel-lo!", very clearly and loud enough to hear.
She has obviously been practicing, as she had this look of rapt concentration on her cute little face.
My sweet, sweet lil' baby!

Re: Arianwen says Hello!

One of my cats regularly sounds like he is saying - "Lonely" - it's quite creepy! And I know he's not lonely, as he shares his home with 7 other animals

Re: Arianwen says Hello!

Jitzu used to say lots of things. Mostly when she was in heat, but she still does it occasionally. She said Hello, guys, no, yeah, and once I swear she said Elizabeth! That was our roommate's name at one point, she loved Elizabeth.

Re: Arianwen says Hello!

Jitzu must be a very smart kitty! It seems like the really smart ones often learn to say a few words.
Saying English words clearly enough so a human can understand must be really hard for a cat. That they make the effort really shows their love.
It's so neat to be able to converse with another species, even if it's just to hear them say,"Dog", when you ask what they see, or, "Bug" when you ask what they caught.

PS - Arianwen says, "Hi!", Geri
