Re: CleverCat Litter Box

I think it's brilliant
my cats would love it.

besides, if your cat
does not figure it out,
you can always return
it to petsmart for a refund.

make sure to use some old
litter so your cat will smell
his way down into this thing.

old cats with little jump left
in them, may not use this,
unless you get stairs for it.

Re: CleverCat Litter Box

I've heard they're good for keeping dogs out of the litter box,

but, $35 is an awful lot to spend for a glorified rubbermaid bin! Buy a storage bin & cut a whole in the top yourself if you want to save some money.
(Our litter box is just that, a rubbermaid bin with a hole cut in it, but I've cut the hole in the side and not in the top. Works great!)

Re: CleverCat Litter Box

That would be GREAT for keeping my Boxer out of the cat box! I do like the idea of making one... maybe I'll try that this weekend!

Re: CleverCat Litter Box

My SIL made one for her cat. It's a big, blue plastic storage bin with a hole cut in the top. Kitty likes it.

Re: CleverCat Litter Box

My brother has that litter box for his two cats, and says it's cut down a lot on the litter tracking and kicking.

Re: CleverCat Litter Box

here is a large round variation of the same idea of
having a high opening to keep dogs out and litter in.

Re: CleverCat Litter Box

The great thing about this box besides the tracking issue is it's easy to clean out, take the top off, lift one end then the other. Also if they won't use it with the top on, just cut about 3/4 of the top off so they'll step on the 1/4 left and then into or out of the box. Also the box is solidly built, not flimsy.
