Is it true?

Is it true that if a female cat doesn't get pregnant at least once, she will die?!

Re: Is it true?

Em - all cats die one day so in that respect yes!! But am not aware of pregnancy affecting life length. In fact my family have had cats all my life (26 years) and none of them have been pregnant (all neutered when kittens) and had long happy lives (Smokey died when she was 21 which is a great age for a cat!). Hope that clears up any confusion/concerns

You should set your friend straight. I think neutering a cat contributes to longer lifespan for the cat.
