Re: If your cat has been missing for 2 weeks

... I would ask around to find out if it was true, and try to find what is at the bottom of this -? Neighbor-to-neighbor feud? Exaggeration? Wacko sociopaths? "Having them killed" does this mean taking cats to your local shelter which euthanizes animals after xx number of days if no one claims them? Once you know more, then you can decide if someone is trying to defame someone else, or if a nut job is loose in your neighborhood...

Re: If your cat has been missing for 2 weeks

Your cat that had been missing for two weeks:
Is the cat easily identifiable? Recognizeable from a photo?
Was the cat wearing a collar with identification? Micro-chip?
Had you contacted area vets/shelters with information about your missing cat?
If yes to any of the above, I would probably contact my local law enforcement with the information and ask if they could determine if your cat was one that had been trapped by that neighbor. Then I'd ask what recourse you have. Without proof of trapping/removing your personal property, there may be very little that can be done.
Sorry, I wish I could be more helpful.
