Dog helps tame the ferals

Can this dog get any better?! Boone and Abbott adore each other, Abbott is one of two feral fosters I have from work his brother Costelo isn't so nice and I have the war wounds to prove it, little jerk has aquired a taste for human flesh. But Abbott has come around beautifully since Boone has been in the house. He'll probably be ready to go back soon and be put up for adoption.

As soon as Boone came into the house Abbott was all over him and they've been best buddies ever since, sleeping together, playing like mad men, eating together (despite me telling Abbott dog food is not good for kitty tums nor is cat food good for doggy tums Boone) It surprised me I expected alot of hissing from Abbott but nope, he came flying off the cat tree and started kneading adn suckling on him, both are now on the floor playing and chasing each other around the room. Costelo lurks under the futon giving dirty looks...

Re: Dog helps tame the ferals

I'm going to hate tearing them apart but Abbott has come along wonderfully and is ready to go back to the shelter to be put up for adoption. He still has his little quirks but with the right owner those can be worked out as well.

Poor Boone. Costelo really doesn't like him much, he picks and chooses when he wants Boone's attention. Costelo has also been downgraded from having the whole spare room to roam in to the old rabbit cage so we can try to work with him better.
