Going on holiday... leaving cats with 'cat-sitter'

My Mum and Stepdad have just left to go on holiday this morning, and I am away on Thursday until Monday. My parents return on Wednesday night.

Our two cats are sadly having to 'stay home' when we are away, and even worse they are having to be seperated after just getting to know each other.

My older cat always goes up to our Grannies house when we go away, he is very much a lap cat and she can look after him well. Whereas my kitten is hyperactive and playful so she felt it would be to much for her. So I asked my Dad to cat sit... and he said that in his size of house he would only be able to look after one.

All in all, due to matters outside my hands my cats are going to different 'holiday homes'.
Rogue to Dads and Shady to Grannies.

My worry is that Shady went away last night, and Rogue is still in the house with me at present until tomorrow. She has really been 'off' since Shady left, and didnt even let me sleep last night as if I stopped stroking or cuddling her she would nudge me, pad me, meiow at me and generally try and get me up again. Now my parents have left she will not leave my side, so much so that she ended up IN the shower with me this morning !!!

Will she be ok with me leaving her at my Dads house tomorrow? She has never been there before and I was wondering if there was anyway I could make her more comfortable while I am away? I am sending her toys/litter tray/food bowl/comforter/and everthing else she uses daily (her bag is nearly the same size as my holiday back!)

I am also worried that her and Shady were just beginning to see eye to eye again. When she first arrived they ignored each other, and then it was the fighting stage which we have just gotten over - Will we need to go through this all again? Rogue will be home again a few days before Shadys return, they were/do clearly fight for dominance and with Rogue having the run of the house for days I think it could causing 'issues'.

Any advice on how to make Rogues stay away from home easier and Shadys return to home as easy as possible would be great !!

Please, Please Help!!!

If they are both getting lots of attention where they are staying they will do fine. Esp kittens readjust much easier when they come back. I always worry about my cats when Im gone and call all the time! Pathetic hugh! Sounds like you have two people who will love on them and they will be just fine!
