2 new children and a total circus

Sheesh why do these things happen to me??? ....two little girl children semi feral (apparantly) are left for over a month at our local vetshop... now our vetshop tries to rehome kittens and spay and give shots etc.... these poor babies were headed for kitty heaven because no one wanted semi ferals .. also they have odd colouring .. black with brownish/apricot spots so were considered ugly !!!

So Gail( at the vetshop) approaches me..... oh dear what to do ???? of course I can give them a home , we dont have much in the way of money but I do have plenty of room and two more cats arent going to much us much poorer than we are now .. and the vet will give us even more discount than what we get already.

We bring the infants home .. daddy was apparently a pure siamese and these kittens are about 10 weeks old and definately not feral just unsocilised .... it took two days .. Tyson,Mike ,freeway, Ginger and the gang fairly delighted at new playmates especially Tyson who wanted to play immediately

These two are now the most affectionate sweetest babies .. but flippin naughty , and they behave exactly like siamese cats .. talking leaping into thin air , and are hyperactive ...and want attention all the time .

BUT they all get on with the rest of the crew so now I have 11 cats that get on and tear my house apart ... the others dont mix much ..

Boy Cats: Tucker,Freeway,Tyson,Copicat,Mike

They sound BEAUTIFUL! I'd love to see photos...apricot spots on black sounds so unusual...though I wonder if it is just a form of sun-fading that will go away with good food and care?

I googled your address and there's a huge neon VACANCY sign flashing for all the world to see! You gotta get that fixed!

There's also a big heart next to it.

Heidi I have seen markings like it before , its quite unusual , but I think I explained myself badly.

They are black with apricot and caramel (sorta) blotches .. not spots

I think If I had more money I would probably have many more cats by now ..its tricky whjen u know you have the space .

But what's the difference between a blotch and a spot?

To me a blotch is an irregular spot (much like a splatter paint blotch) and a spot is more round and even (although not without irregularities).

It might just be the coloring, though the only time I've seen that pattern on cats was on strays. There was one that would hang out around my highschool that people called Halloween because she was black with brown and orange blotches. Kind of like a calico with black fur instead of white. Maybe it comes from calicos that breed with black cats.

That's what I was wondering. Carol, you're their angel! Thank you.
