Lost Oliver

I haven't posted in a while. I got really busy with family stuff and then went on a 3 week vacation. Tragically, while I was on vacation the person who was caring for my pets accidentally let Oliver out and we have not been able to find him. We've checked all our animal shelters here, put up flyers, and even called our vet but know one has seen him. He was wearing ID tags and has a registered microchip so I only hope that some one will get him back to us if they find him. I miss him terribly. He was my lap cat and pillow warmer. The house just seems kinda empty with out him.

I'm so very sorry. I pray that he comes home. I'm sure your heart is broken.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'll keep my fingers crossed and good thoughts that you find him.

Re: Lost Oliver

Thanks I just hope something bad didn't happen to him. We live in a desert and I can't imagine it would be easy to find food or water. In a way I hope some one found him and said "Oh what a nice cat! I think I'll keep him." That would be better than him getting run over, starving to death, or being attacked by coyotes.

I'm so sorry. I hope he comes home to you. How long has he been missing now?

Re: Lost Oliver

it's going on 4 weeks. The person who let him out didn't tell me until after I got back. If I had known I would have cut my vacation short.

Man, that would anger me to no end if I'm gone and the person caring for my pets failed to notify me ASAP about a lost pet (or injured, sick, etc.).

Isn't that PART of being a pet caretaker while someone is on vacation?

Any leads on your sweet Oliver?

I truly hope he finds his way back to you.
