Re: stupid question i know

its some sort of pad. i think it helps with traction. thats a good question though, one of the cat gurus will chime in.

also it can be normal for cats to play bite on your toes. i got my cat at 4months and she used to play and bite me and the hubbies toes. as she got older she stopped biting mine but occasionally bites my husbands. maybe my feet stink lol

again some folks will chime in on this because theres a certain degree to where its ok that they bite your toes and when its not.

hope that helps

Re: stupid question i know

Are you talking about the tough little bit of flesh of the back of the front legs just above the paws? That's totally normal, although I don't believe it serves any function.

And yes, they have a thing about attacking feet and toes.... most of them grow out of it, but it's also going to be in your best interest to start gently letting kitty know that it's not okay to eat your foot!

Re: stupid question i know

i belive its simply a left over from evolution!! so dont panic its perfectly normal!

As for foot biting... its the bane of my life. Suki would be much more pleasent if she didnt attack my feet. She is 6 now and shows no sign of stopping and no kind of disipline seems to work!! good luck with that hehehe
