New foster!

I just went to pick up my new foster!
She is a beautiful black and white kitty named Mona.
The facility I foster for has a place called the Catty Shack, where they can keep many adult cats that don't have foster homes. This is where she has been staying. They have volunteers that go out every day to clean and socialize kitties, but Mona needed a little extra TLC. She has feline acne on her chin, and while changing bowls and cleaning them daily has helped, they wanted her in a foster home so that someone could watch it more carefully and put medicine on it regularly.
She is a nice sized girl! Definately bigger than my petite little Nefertiti. She doesn't mind other cats, just doesn't want them in her face, just like my Nefertiti, so hopefully they should get along nicely. She LOOOOOOVES attention! Every time I am in the room (she is in my guest bedroom for a little adjustment period) she is on top of me wanting loves and scrubbles, and purring her head off. I can't believe she hasn't found a home yet, because she seems like an awesome lovable kitty.

So, here she is!

She is beautiful and I love the little beauty-mark next to her dark nose!

Re: New foster!

Thanks!
I love her little black booger-mark too!

She's been settling down nicely, and was just doing the most adorable thing... she was purring in her sleep. Totally asleep, but sounding like a motor-boat! It was so cute.

What a cutie! I hope she's adopted real soon, but it sounds like she has a good thing goin' in your house too.

Re: New foster!

She's just adorable... She did NOT like me taking a shower today! She stood outside the shower meowing at me, as if to say "Why are you doing that to yourself?!?!"

She's being a bear about the chin meds though... she doesn't like being held in general, and really doesn't like being restrained so that I can get this medicine on her chin. Any restraining tips would be greatly appreciated! Mostly I just need to be able to hold her in one spot and immobilize her head so that I can get enough meds on to be effective. I have no idea how I'm going to get her de-wormer in her...

I hope she finds a new home too, she's just a wonderful kitty!
