Cat Dandruff?

She seems to have developed a little dandruff around her lower back and root of tail? That suggests to me a lack of fluids in her diet? Strange, because it seems to have developed after she switched to raw diet, a diet with plenty of moisture? She shows no irritation at her skin and its not much - still, somethings not completely finely tuned in her diet, I suspect? Or dry air?

No scabs anywhere. Just dry skin apparently. Add some omega 3 perhaps to her diet? After brushing it out, its not visible atm.

Not infrequently the body will "detox" after going off commercial food. Are you adding fish body (not liver) oil to her food? If not, I would add that.

Re: Cat Dandruff?

Must admit, Im wondering if shes been lying in some white cotton or something, cos i cant find a trace now. Ive brushed it out a couple of times before, and it sure looks like dandruff though.
Could be from the white curtains. Thats one of her favorite places to hide behind while quietly strangling her toys.
