Bad news just found out...

Well today, we all thought that Catty was 9, right.
Some bad news. She is actually 12.
I am abit worried since she's been acting weird lately, (posted a thread about that).
I hope she will live a few more years, hoping.

I'm sorry to hear that. It is like you just lost 3 years with her. How did you find out her true age?

Oh sweetie, 12 years old is still not that old for a cat... I'm sure Catty will be around for much much longer! Just spend lots of time with her, give her lots of love and she'll really appreciate you for it!

Don't be upset. Just love her every day.
I adopted my cat Grace when she was 12.
These are the best years of her life.

12 years old is just mature. Sophie lived to be a month shy of 18.

12 isn't old!

One of my cat's turns 11 tomorrow, she'll still a spritely little kitty. Infact... Just try and call her old, she'll give you a good hit to the nose!

How do you know about this age change? Unless someone actually has records or has known her since kittenhood, then there's really no way to know. Someone looking at her teeth and estimating her age is just guessing...and there's no way to really pinpoint the difference between 9 and 12. She could just as easily be 6...
