unexpected benefits of having a furchild

I knew all the standard benefits of adopting a kitty but there are a few others I didn't expect.

They are:
1) dishes get done more often
2) bathroom gets cleaned more often (her litter box is in there)
3) kitchen counters stay clearer
4) things get picked up faster

I have some neurological issues that make most of the usual household tasks more difficult to complete. Having Gabby around forces me to think about these things more often because I notice how she hops over stuff instead of walking on it to get from one place to another. The dishes get done more often because her wet food that's left on the plates starts to smell really fast if not washed off right away, especially the fish varieties.

I was able to get her in my apartment as an emotional support animal but she's helping me with other areas too. WOOT WOOT!! I love my 8 lb furchild!!

Truth. With MOwMOw here I"m always wiping, mopping, washing and scrubbing. Plus the way he effects my allergies makes sure the place is vacuumed bi-weekly and blankets/sheets/laundry done weekly. He's the man!

My cats love to spray litter all over the place, and Nito loves to spread his white furriness on my black couches. That means the vacuum comes out all the time, every day if not twice.

I don't have any benefits from having adopted Prince, except an immense happiness and enjoyment in my soul.

The Royal von Meouw Dynasty: His Royal Highness the late Prince von Meouw,
Her Royal Highness Princess Gatita von Meouw, Nikita Duchess of Meouw and
His Highness Cuchi-Cuchi, next in line for the throne of Prince von Meouw.

I find that I'm taking better care of myself so that I can be a better cat mommy.

I don't notice any huge difference in my house keeping abilities, but I do enjoy spending more time in the backyard sunning or gardening in the back or front yard thanks to Blacky always being my little shadow out there.

A,d don't forget those furbombs they leave us can be spun into yarn and used to make horrid fuzzy sweaters. At least they would if I ever get them sent to the sister who spins.
