Glad to know that I wasn't the only one who got teary-eyed. Now Emelda, would you pass the tissues, please?

That is so sweet! My lab/beagle mix kind of did that when our barn cat had kittens. Only, the mother nursed and weaned them, but as soon as they started wandering around the yard, my lab would have none of it, and used to pick them up and put them back in the barn. It was so cute, and the dog in that video looks very much like my old Sassy. I miss that dog everyday. She left us a few years ago at the age of 17. Such a good natured dog. The one kitten we decided to keep ended up bonding with her. they slept together and hunted in the yard together. The cat, Pepper, is still around, a mangy old dilute torti, she's almost 20 now, and from what my mom says, she still leaps 4 feet in the air to catch birds mid flight.
