I hope not everyone has already read it somewhere, for me it's the first time.... I don't know who the author is, it was passed to me.
A man dies. His dog is so grief-stricken, that he dies the next day. Their souls meet by the Pearly Gates. Suddenly, the man sees a sign "no dogs allowed beyond this point". He shakes his head, takes his dog by the leash, and keeps on walking. It's a long road, but then he sees another set of Pearly Gates with a security guard standing in front of it.
"Excuse me, sir,...", the man asked the guard.
"My name is Saint Peter.", the guard interrupted him.
"St. Peter, what's behind this gate?"
"Can I bring my dog with me."
"You're more than welcome to."
"Wait a minute, I saw another gate earlier just like this one, and it didn't allow dogs."
"That was hexll."
The man is speechless, stumbling for words.
"Heaven is only for those who would never betray their friends", St. Peter continued.
