Oh boy!

Guess whose dog sniffed out a young ferret while on her walk this morning?

Yep, the same idiot who owns the very same dog who managed to sniff out an abandoned Queen cat and four kittens a couple of month ago.

Thank heavens there aren't elephants in these parts!!!!

lol aww, what a good doggie. What are you going to do about the ferret? I would hope that she just escaped and someone is looking for her...but it is possible she was dumped

Some people have all the luck! But seriously, I would wonder if it is lost seeing as it is a young one. Ferrets are so....well ferret like. Maybe call the local shelter and see if someone reported him/her missing?

I've called the local vets (we don't have any shelters that take ferrets) and posted it on local facebook pages. There is a lot of rabbiting in this neck of the woods and I think he / she may have been taken out for a first hunt and got away.

My late uncle always had ferrets but I am pretty ignorant. Is kitten food harmful for a young, equally carnivorous ferret?
