Cat carrier to sleep on???

This is Autumn sleeping on top of her carrier since she doesn't like to go inside very often. It is very difficult getting her to the vet because of this. I can't see how she is so comfortable sleeping on top of it but she does it often. I have kept it available so she will get used to it since I need to get her to the vet for her annual visit but so far no luck.

ET sleeps inside his carrier since day 1. After I lured him into his carrier with treats, for a trip to the vet for his 1st vaccination, I thought he would stop going in because when we got home, he gave me such a hard bite as a show of his displeasure. But 3 days after the trip to the vet, he went back into his carrier, to sleep, right up till now, his carrier is his bed. However, I am no longer able to lure him in with treats, he will go in on his own at his own leisure.
